While once confined to Baltimore, this non-profit organization now offers its members the opportunity to display their work in galleries stretching from the Eastern Shore to the mountains of Western Maryland as well as the suburbs of Washington, D.C. In addition, the Society hosts painting demonstrations and lectures, workshops, peer critiques, a monthly newsletter, bus trips to major exhibitions, and the opportunity to paint on location with other artists.
Paintings are juried for the Artist level of membership twice each year in March and October. Associate members may join at any time. Membership fees are $30 for Artist members and $20 for Associates.
The next jurying for Artist Members will be held in March 6, 2010.
Drop-off time: Between 1:00 and 1:30 PM
Location: Howard County Center for the Arts
Pick-up time: No earlier than 3:00 PM but no later than 3:30 PM
