Donations

BWS accepts donations that are used for one of the following:

  • General Purpose - which can be used for operating costs as the BWS Board deems fit consistent with our status as a non-profit organization, the BWS By-laws, and Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law).
  • Student Scholarships - One is given to a College student continuing their studies in the visual arts. A second scholarship is given to High School students working in watermedia.
  • Mid-Atlantic Award - which is used to fund one or more awards given to artists whose work is included in the Mid-Atlantic Juried Exhibition

Select which fund if you want to direct your funds specifically to the Scholarship award fund or BWS Mid-Atlantic fund, rather than leaving the option to the BWS Board.

Corporate Material Awards are used as part of the Mid-Atlantic Juried Exhibition awards.
