Baltimore Watercolor Society TEXT NOTIFICATION CONSENT

Text Notification Consent Statement

I understand Wild Apricot, the service we use to manage our membership’s information and preferences, has added a Text Notification Service. To consent to Baltimore Watercolor Society (BWS) texting you, you must edit your membership record and check the box for Consent to BWS Text Notifications to my cell phone.

If we receive your consent then we’ll use Text Notifications to notify you when:

• Events are open for registration, 
• Event Reminders (e.g., Exhibit Delivery Reminders), 
• Newsletters are available on the website, 
• Member Surveys are available, and 
• Some of the other communications that we normally provided by email. 

Email reminders will continue, this is an additional option for those who prefer short text reminders. Details about events will be included only in the email notifications and not in short text reminders.

If you consent to receiving Text Notification from BWS, you can later opt out by Texting STOP. This will not update your consent field setting but will prevent you from receiving further text messages from BWS. To sign up to receive messages after texting STOP, you can text either START or UNSTOP.
