Bus Trip to AWS Show 2018

Available to members and the public. You may invite one or more guests, until the bus if full.

The annual bus trip to NYC to see the American Watercolor Society Annual Exhibition will be on Tuesday, April 17, 2017, on a chartered Gunter Bus.

The bus will have two pick-up places:

  • at 6:45 am at the Security Park & Ride at the end of I-70 at exit 94 off the Baltimore Beltway and
  • at 7:20 am at the Timonium Park & Ride, Deereco Road between Timonium and Padonia Roads.

The bus will arrive at the Salmagundi Club about 11:30 am. You may eat at a local restaurant in the area or visit local shops while you wait for the Salmagundi Club to open at 1:00 pm.

At 2:45 the Bus will transport you to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. You may have dinner at the Metropolitan Museum or find a restaurant nearby.

Board the bus at 6:00 pm for departure from the Metropolitan at 6:15 pm. The bus will be waiting in front of the Museum. If you are not on the bus by 6:15 at the Metropolitan Museum, we will assume that you have made other plans to return to Baltimore.

Beginning March 1st, the Metropolitan Museum Admission policy is changing. It will be $25 regular admission and $17 for seniors,  and includes all special exhibitions. This cost is not included in the $49 BWS event fee.

Drop off:

  • Deereco Park and Ride 10:30 pm
  • Security Park and Ride  11:00 pm

Registration Opens: February 3rd.

Deadline for registration: April 15th OR until the bus is full, whichever comes first.

Cost: $49 per person
