BWS SEMI-ANNUAL JURYING FOR SIGNATURE ARTIST STATUS REGISTRATION

ASSOCIATE AND NON-BWS ARTISTS WELCOME.

Registration is Open August 1st Through October  3rd 11:59PM.

APPLICANTS FOR SIGNATURE STATUS IN BALTIMORE WATERCOLOR SOCIETY MUST RESIDE IN THE MID-ATLANTIC REGION: DELAWARE, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, MARYLAND, NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK, PENNSYLVANIA, VIRGINIA, OR WEST VIRGINIA

Jurying by the Board of Governors will convene October 17, 2026, and decision letters will be mailed to artists within two weeks of this date. Only the Board participates in the jurying process.

As part of registering to have your artwork juried, you must upload four samples of your work that meet the criteria described in the document at the link below. Read this document carefully, even if you have read it in the past, as changes or updates may have been added. Be sure that criteria outlined in the document is met before submitting images and completing the registration form.

Once you have read criteria outlined in the jury packet and have selected paintings to submit, you will need to upload digital images of them as part of the registration process. Your images must be jpeg or jpg format, The file should be no larger than 3 MB.
